Today 19 fire crew members took our company to the Dauphin County Firemen's convention parade in Paxtonia.  We competed successfully in multiple apparatus categories and were presented with the following awards: Best Appearing Overall Company -1st Place Heavy Rescue Company- 1st Place Engine Company - 1st Place (Engine 2), 2nd Place (Engine 1) and 3rd Place (Reserve Engine 36) Engine / Tanker Company -1st Place - Engine 36-3 Specialty Apparatus- 1st Place - Brush 36-1, 3rd Place - Special Unit 36 All company officers are very proud of our fire crew members and their exceptional levels of committment and dedication.  While at the parade several people commented that they had no idea as to what the West Hanover Fire Company had and what they could do.  After looking at our apparatus and personnel these same people told us that it looks like our company motto is accurate and that we have "Whatever It Takes" to get the job done!   Dauphin County Company 36 - "Doing Our Best, Doing Whatever It Takes"
